Dottie is a sound, 16 year old, easy keeper TWH. This flashy, thick built mare is approximately 15.1hh . She had a foal about three years ago. She completed 3 months of ‘refresher’ training last year with a professional.
She stands well for the farrier. Loads and unloads easily. Easy to catch. Stands to be bathed and groomed. No buck, bite, kick or rear. Stands tied (has been cross-tied.)
Dottie is a great trail horse. Easy to saddle and bridle. Stands to be mounted from the ground or a mounting block. Neck reins, side passes, and works off leg pressure. Has a great stop, back up and turn around. Smooth gaited. Walks on a loose rein but has go when asked. Not spooky. Will ride out alone or in a group (front, middle or back.) Will cross creeks, logs and hills and her owner even ponied her Daughter behind her with Dottie!
