Nice Chocolate Trail Horse
Doc is a sweet boy that loves people. He will need an intermediate rider because he had 3 years off with more time in the saddle, he will form into a well-rounded gelding. He is great on trails and will take you up and down anything you want to go on. He backs up well, neck reins and yields to heel pressure great! He can be a little flighty at times (hence the intermediate rider); however, the more you ride, the better he gets! He’s not one to bolt from things when spooked but occasionally he will jump to the side. I think he will be well accustomed for a female rider because he likes a gentle hand. He’s been to different places to ride and he has impressed/ improved each time. He loads, ties, and stands perfectly for dismount. He stands fairly well for mounting, it just takes a little patience at times; again, the more saddle time he gets, the more improvement. His current owner bought him in November, Since she started riding him, he has never offered to buck, rear, or show any bad behavior. Again, the more he rides, the better he gets!
She’s working on him standing for mounting but he does stand for dismount, Farrier, bathing, ties, leads, loads and trailers great. If you’re someone that does natural Horsemanship or the basic ground work you could do wonders with Doc!
Up to date on worming, feet and new coggins.
